We stayed at the Archer Hotel in Alexandria for a weekend anniversary trip. The hotel is in a great location, easy to walk everywhere. The room was extremely clean, we were so impressed. The staff were very kind and helpful and they even sent a bottle of wine and goodies to our room to help us celebrate our anniversary. If you are visiting Alexandria, I highly recommend the Archer! We can’t wait to come back.

The location is great right along King St. We booked at an Archer hotel instead of the usual large chains and found and used the 'first time' guest discount offer directly with Archer. I'm wondering if our check-in process and room reflected the fact that we did not pay full price as the only room window looked directly onto the next room's balcony and into another room. We had no view of anything else and subsequently left the curtains closed the entire time. The front desk person was not welcoming at all, didn't offer any information about complimentary morning coffee, tea or other hotel amenities etc., thus the 4 and not 5 star rating. Despite that, I do want to say that Bennedy from the hotel's Reservations off-site help desk was terrific. The 2 gentlemen in charge of the Valet service (Tesfay & Sylvester) were also very nice, friendly and personable and should be recognized and commended for the professional job that they do. It's a good thing that they are the front-facing staff that engaged with us upon check in and check out.

We had the most wonderful stay at The Archer in November celebrating our Anniversary. Everything from the beautiful room, to the extra amenities like cozy robes and slippers, to the extremely attentive staff was just perfection. We both agreed it's in our top 3 favorites stays, they have somehow created the the perfect balance charm and service we love in a top tier bed and breakfast with the luxury and convenience of very nice hotel. We absolutely loved our room with its beautiful tub and sweeping views from the bedroom and balcony but really any room would be great here. The courtyard is beautiful, the room off the lobby full of books was so cozy and during our stay they had set up a delicious cocoa and cider bar. We loved being able to take ours to go and walking the cute streets of old town with them. When we came back one of the receptionists asked about our room, and I mentioned the beautiful tub and she had a bath bomb delivered to the room! I really can't think of a way to improve this place. We are not Locals but would absolutely make the trip back to the area just to stay here again and enjoy The Archer and its great location! Thank you Isabelle and the other wonderful staff that made our stay so great!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Archer Hotel!!! We stayed for my birthday. Matt, Abby, Guilver and the entire staff exceeded my expectations!!! They upgraded our room to a beautiful suite with a private rooftop patio!!! Which gave us a beautiful view of Alexandria!! The staff provided sweet treats, wine and a welcoming note for my birthday!! The suite was clean and spacious!!! The staff was warm and friendly! If I could give Matt, Abby, and Guilver a bonus I would!!! They were fantastic!!!

Tucked off of King Street with a nice quiet courtyard you find this modern boutique hotel. Interior is all new, clean and very well maintained. Staff were exceptionally welcoming, helpful, and happily accommodated my requests. Great breakfast restaurant off the lobby. Room was large and well furnished. Overall great hotel !!!!

I stayed in the Archer Den room for two nights, and it was a magical time. The staff was pleasant, the room was very comfortable, and I really enjoyed reading and taking in the views from my balcony. The tub was really big and comfortable as well. My only downsides were that the refrigerator was broken in the room, and that the balcony door did not lock, which made me a little uneasy as a female who was traveling alone at the time. However, the staff was great and addressed the refrigerator issue right away, having it replaced while I was out the next day. I did not bring up the balcony lock issue since I thought it was likely a safety feature to prevent guests from being locked out of their room. The hotel itself was beautiful, the staff was inviting and helpful, and I really appreciated the extra touches that they offered for their guests, such as complementary water throughout the day in the lobby, coffee and tea in the mornings, and local sweets and water bottles in the room. I look forward to another stay with Archer hotel in the future.
